The number most players never see
Our catalogue holds 973 games, and every one of them carries an RTP value. But those values are not equal in quality. 829 of them sit on a whole number - 94, 96, 97 - which is the platform default, applied in bulk. Only 144 games publish a decimal, and a decimal means somebody actually measured it.
Of those 144, 141 come from PG SOFT. That set is the most honest window we have into how much RTP really varies inside a single provider.
What is the RTP spread in this catalogue?
Across 141 PG SOFT games with published decimal RTP, values run from 94.14% to 97.44% - a gap of 3.3 percentage points. The median sits at 96.75%. Eight in ten of these games cluster between 96.5% and 97.0%, which means the outliers at both ends are the ones worth knowing about.
The highest four

RTP 97.44%

RTP 97.44%

RTP 97.38%

RTP 97.35%
Two games tie at the top: Flirting Scholar and Ninja Vs Samurai, both at 97.44%. Behind them, Muay Thai Champion at 97.38% and Leprechaun Riches at 97.35%.
The lowest four

RTP 95.01%

RTP 94.96%

RTP 94.82%

RTP 94.14%
Win Win Won sits at 94.14% - the floor of the set. Plushie Frenzy (94.82%), Medusa II (94.96%) and Tree of Fortune (95.01%) fill out the bottom.
What 3.3 points costs in pesos
Arithmetic, not prediction. Wager ₱10,000 across many rounds:
| Game | RTP | Theoretical return | House keeps |
|---|---|---|---|
| Flirting Scholar | 97.44% | ₱9,744 | ₱256 |
| Catalogue median | 96.75% | ₱9,675 | ₱325 |
| Win Win Won | 94.14% | ₱9,414 | ₱586 |
The gap between top and bottom is ₱330 per ₱10,000 wagered. That is not a jackpot difference. It is a slow leak - and it only shows up over a large number of rounds, never in one session.
The honest caveat: these are catalogue values, not independently audited figures. An operator can deploy a different RTP configuration of the same game. Always open the game's help screen and check the paytable before you trust any number, including ours.
Why the whole-number games tell you nothing
The 829 games listed at exactly 94.00, 96.00 or 97.00 are not lying - they are simply unspecified. A round number in a game catalogue almost always means the value was filled in at the category level rather than read from the game's own maths.
This matters for a practical reason: if you sort a catalogue by RTP and the top of your list is full of games reading exactly 97.00, you have sorted by data-entry convention, not by payout. The decimal games are the ones where sorting means something.
The same check run against the provider's own documents tells a similar story for another studio: in our JILI game-sheet RTP comparison, 29 catalogue entries stored at 97.00% were checked against their official sheets and only 8 matched exactly.
How to use this when picking
- Filter to games that publish a decimal. A game showing 96.92% has told you something; a game showing 96.00% has not.
- Read the spread, not the average. The median of 96.75% is useless on its own. Knowing the range is 94.14-97.44% tells you the choice is worth making.
- Check the paytable in the live game. The catalogue is a starting point, not a guarantee.
- Then stop optimising. Once you are inside the top band, the remaining difference is smaller than one session's variance. Pick the game you enjoy.
The other 832 games in the catalogue
PG SOFT is not the whole picture. The catalogue also carries 515 arcade-casino titles, 171 blackjack tables, 107 baccarat tables, 58 wheel games, 33 roulette tables and smaller sets of dice, fishing, poker and crash games.
Most of those sit on whole-number RTP, and for table games that is often appropriate - baccarat and blackjack have mathematically fixed house edges that depend on rules and player decisions rather than a reel configuration. A single catalogue number cannot express "96.00% if you play basic strategy, less if you do not".
This is why the decimal figures matter most for reel-based games, where the maths is fixed in the game itself and a published figure is a genuine specification rather than a rounded convention.
A worked example: two games, same night
Take Flirting Scholar at 97.44% and Win Win Won at 94.14% - the two ends of our set. Suppose a player opens each with ₱2,000 and bets ₱10 a round.
Over 200 rounds, ₱2,000 passes through the game. Theoretical returns are ₱1,949 and ₱1,883 respectively - a difference of about ₱66. Session variance on either game will comfortably exceed that number in both directions.
That is the honest scale of it. The RTP difference is real and it is directional, but across one evening it is invisible beneath normal swings. It compounds only when you keep playing.
What RTP still cannot tell you
RTP is a long-run average. It says nothing about how the money arrives - whether in frequent small returns or rare large ones. That is volatility, and it is a separate specification entirely.
Two games at identical RTP can feel completely different: one pays small and often, the other pays almost nothing for long stretches and then returns it in a single hit. If your budget is small, volatility will affect your session far more than a 0.5-point RTP difference will.
Read our slot category guide for how volatility is listed, and the RTP explainer for what the percentage measures in the first place.
Frequently asked questions
Does a higher RTP mean I will win more?
No. RTP is measured across millions of rounds. In any single session, variance decides the outcome entirely. A 97.44% game can lose for hours and a 94.14% game can pay immediately. RTP only shapes results over a very large number of rounds.
Why do so many games show exactly 96.00%?
Because that is a default value applied at the category level rather than a measured figure for that specific game. 829 of our 973 entries sit on a whole number. Treat them as unspecified rather than as a precise claim.
Is a 3-point RTP gap worth caring about?
Over ₱10,000 of total wagering it is about ₱330 - small in one session, meaningful over months of play. It costs nothing to prefer the higher number when two games appeal equally, so treat it as a tiebreaker rather than a strategy.
Where do these RTP figures come from?
They are the values stored in our own game catalogue, recomputed on 2026-09-22. They are not independently audited, and an operator may run a different configuration of the same title. Check the in-game paytable for the version you are actually playing.
Should I only play the highest-RTP game available?
Not necessarily. Once you are inside the top band the remaining difference is smaller than normal session variance, and volatility will shape your experience far more. Use RTP to eliminate clear outliers, then choose on the game itself.
