Big Bass slots compared: which of 16 editions lists the highest RTP?

Short answer — Of the 16 Big Bass editions we checked on Pragmatic Play's own game pages on 19 October 2026, four list the highest RTP, 96.71%: Big Bass Bonanza, Bigger Bass Bonanza, Big Bass Splash and Big Bass Christmas Bash. Big Bass Halloween lists the lowest, 96.04%. On every ₱10,000 wagered, that gap is worth about ₱67 over the long run, by our calculation. That is a real difference across many spins, but it is far smaller than the swings a single session normally produces.

Many players in the Philippines pick a Big Bass game by theme or by the newest release. This guide puts the one number Pragmatic Play publishes for every edition, the RTP, side by side, converts it into pesos, and explains what that number can and cannot tell you.

Where the numbers come from

Each game page on pragmaticplay.com has a short "Basic Game Info" block. For every edition below, that block lists one figure: RTP. We opened all 16 pages on 19 October 2026 and copied the figure exactly as printed. Each name in the table links to the page we read, so you can check it yourself.

Those pages do not list volatility, hit frequency or maximum win in the Basic Game Info block, so this comparison uses RTP only. Some pages describe features in the text above that block, for example the free-spin counts in Big Bass Splash, but they do not give those figures for every edition, so we do not compare them here.

All 16 editions, ranked by listed RTP

The third column is our calculation: (100% − RTP) × ₱10,000. A listed RTP of 96.71% means that, over a very large number of spins, the game is designed to return about ₱9,671 for every ₱10,000 wagered. The expected cost of that play is about ₱329.

Chart drawn from the RTP figures in the table. Expected loss is our calculation, and the bars start at zero.

Three groups, not sixteen different numbers

The editions fall into three clear groups:

Six editions list exactly 96.07%. Newer is not always lower, though: Big Bass Christmas Bash sits in the top group with 96.71%, while several other seasonal or themed editions sit at about 96.07%.

What ₱67 per ₱10,000 means for a real session

Suppose you play 200 spins at ₱20 each. That is ₱4,000 wagered. At 96.71%, the long-run expected cost is about ₱132. At 96.04%, it is about ₱158. The difference is about ₱27, again by our calculation.

Now compare that with the games themselves. Big Bass Splash's own page says money symbols can carry values of up to 5,000x the bet during free spins. A single feature can therefore change a session's result by far more than ₱27, in either direction. Over 200 spins, luck decides far more of the outcome than the RTP difference does. The higher listed RTP only shows its effect over a very large number of spins.

So use RTP as a tie-breaker between editions you would enjoy equally, not as a reason to expect a better session.

Check the version you are actually playing

The figures above are what Pragmatic Play's public pages list. A game page does not tell you which configuration a particular casino runs. Before you play, open the game's own information or rules screen and read the RTP printed there. If it differs from the table, the in-game figure is the one that applies to that game. Do not rely on this table, or on any third-party list, in place of the in-game figure.

The same applies to features. Bonus buys, ante bets and other modes can carry their own figures in the game rules. This comparison does not cover them.

Common questions

Is a 96.71% game "better" than a 96.07% one?

It costs less on average over a very long run: about ₱329 against ₱393 per ₱10,000 wagered. It does not mean you are more likely to win in your next session.

Why does Big Bass Bonanza 1000 list a lower RTP than the original?

Its page lists 96.51% against 96.71% for the original. The page does not say why, and we do not guess. Treat them as separate games and read each page before you compare them.

Will this list change?

New editions are released regularly, and providers can update their pages. The table is a snapshot from 19 October 2026. Recheck the linked page before you rely on a number.

Before you play

Set a budget before you start, and only play with money you can afford to lose. Online gaming in the Philippines is for adults only, so check the age rule and the platform's licence before you sign up. RTP describes a long-run average. It is not a promise about any session.
