One ticket can contain seven six-number lines in a System 7 selection. “Five of my seven numbers matched” does not mean every line has five matches. The individual combinations must be checked against the same draw.

The documented structure and our example
The PCSO Lottomatik Game Manual, System 7, printed page 12 lists seven combinations in its System 7 table. Our worked selection is {1,2,3,4,5,6,7}. These are teaching numbers, not a recommendation, actual ticket or published draw.
C(7,6)=7 counts distinct six-number subsets. Removing one different number each time produces the same seven lines. Reordering a subset does not make a new line in an unordered six-number selection.
Leave one number out each time

The list contains no duplicate subset and no missing omission. Seven lines came from one selection; they are not seven separate independent draws.
A draw containing five of the selected numbers
Use the fictional draw {1,2,3,4,5,8}. The 8 is outside our selection. Omitting 6 or 7 leaves all five matching numbers in the line: two lines have five matches. Omitting any of 1–5 removes a matching number: five lines have four matches.
The audit is 2+5=7 lines, with no six-match line. Calling this seven five-match awards would confuse the overall selected set with the six-number subsets actually checked.
Match counts do not determine a cash claim by themselves
Match the game, draw date and official result before consulting the relevant prize table. The category count is not a confirmed cash award; current category rules and a validated ticket are still needed. We have not verified the price, tax, eligibility or claim of an actual ticket.
If a line is missing from a copy, check the original validated record rather than reconstructing an unknown selection. A different system size requires a different enumeration. This table does not describe a digit game.
Repeatable ticket bookkeeping
Keep separate columns for the seven selected numbers, all seven six-number subsets and each subset’s match count. Check for duplicates before comparing the lines with one draw. Our example must finish with two five-match and five four-match lines.
